We have the standard issue queen mattress and put a 3" memory foam pad on it. Got it at Belk for about $100. The difference is like night and day.

We have a 1 1/2 inch mattress topper that we got from 'www.overstock.com'
that worked fine in our PUP. With the different design of the bed in the HTT I think a 3 inch would work better, however the 1 1/2 inch is OK.

Our trailer has a real 80x60" queen size matress so we went to Walmart. Nothing special.
One of the selling points to me of the Rockwood was that it has a real queen matress and I can get sheets and such anywhere I would for the house.

2" Memory Foam. Sam's Club $119. Like it.
3" Memory Foam at work. Love it.

Got a 1-1/2" thick memory foam mattress topper for a full size bed at Target for like $29.00. It's a little bit smaller than the mattress but it works out good and makes a world of difference.
