Mattress for fold out sleeper couch

I need to purchase a new mattress for my fold out sleeper couch. Any suggestions for a good quality mattress that won't break the bank? Are air mattress's a good option?

Air mattress is the best option!!! Love ours!! The original air mattress had a hole somewhere we couldn't find so we replaced it for around $50.

We replaced ours with an inflatable air mattress from Walmart. Self contained pump,queen size. 13"height..
