Mattress help

I have a 2024 E-pro E19FD which has the murphy bed. I need a new mattress! the one it came with was hard as a rock. It says a "standard mattress" but the measurements they give are 54 x 74 which isn't. I am wondering what other mattress will work and I think 8 inches is the max depth it can be.

This is why I refuse to buy anything with a Murphy bed in it. The first thing most people do with a new trailer is get a topper or replace the mattress altogether. I'm 6' 2" so the only type of trailer I will buy is one with a 60x80 residential-size queen bed.

A standard full size mattress is 54 x 75". Close or are you saying what came in the camper is not the standard full size 54 x 74/ 75" .

They are correct it is standard.

Go to any mattress store and ask for a standard full size mattress and it will be 54 x 74/75.

It has to be 74 inches. A 75 won't work and it can't be more than 8 inch deep

I have that bed. I covered it with a memory foam topper, and it's much better. The memory foam topper was made for a standard full size mattress, so a few inches stuck past the head of the geopro mattress by a few inches, we have slightly shorter than a full size bed mattress. Eventually, the extra inches began tearing, so I cut it off even with a serrated knife. For the record, wife and I are no string beans, and the topper worked for us.
