Mattress Topper

Anyone know of a good topper for mattress ours is very hard on the back I have been looking but can't decide on one to buy that would be worth the purchase?

Memory foam!

Got two for our camper on sales at Kohl's a few years ago. They were 50% off and we had a 30% off coupon otherwise they can be expensive.

We use the blue gel foam. Ours came with a cover that fits the mattress size. Bought at Bed Bath and Beyond. They can get pricey but we love em. Remember, take your coupons - even out of date ones (they take these too). Sleep well!

We've found that it can be very difficult to get fitted sheets on if you buy a thicker topper. About 1.5" is the most we can manage, as we have a residential queen mattress in our MH. We got one for our bed in the S&B from Costco a couple of years ago for around $85, but they no longer carry the thinner ones.

We're planning to go over to Camping World and get one of theirs, which are 1.5" thick, so we don't have to strip the bed to take one with us..

Good point. Our RV mattress is the RV Serta brand so it's not very thick. I also buy regular sheets since our mattress is regular queen length and the sheets fit fine.

We love our memory foam topper from Costco. About $140. In fact, we sleep better than when we're home!

Wal-Mart, $139.99. Two inches of memory foam and two inches of support foam. Sheets fit great, since we have a serta short queen and the queen topper. I now call it the "heavenly bed."

I bought the blue gel/memory foam Queen from WalMart...around $50.00. We bought the deep pocket Queen sheets so no problem with thickness.

We had a weird feeling of sleeping unlevel (head downhill) even though levels applied showed the slider and the bed foundation totally level. I bought another (cheaper) topper and cut it in half, used one half under the head, between the Serta mattress and the foundation. Fixed that problem.

Our Serta is rock firm! We sleep on a Tempur Pedic here at home. No way I wanted to sleep on a mattress as firm as this Serta!

We use a 3" memory foam topper that we purchased through Fingerhutt. I believe the cost was $169. This sleeps very well and you can't tell when DW gets in the bed.

We recently bought one at Costco for our split mattress in our Sunseeker 2500TS.
It works great, made big difference in sleeping comfort.

I noticed that as well with our topper. Can't feel my DH get up or move around at all. Makes for a great nights sleep!

We did the same thing as Triguy did. Bought ours at Kohl's in Spokane. Exact same deal. Made a big difference sleeping.

We bought the one from Costco about 3 weeks ago. It was on sale from $140 to $100. Our TT is new so we put the topper on, plugged in the system, and "camped out"! Bed felt almost as good as the temperpedic in our house. Well worth the money.

Costco topper

I agree; the 3" memory foam topper we bought at Costco recently for our Surveyor SP220 works very well, very comfortable. I think we paid about $120 on coupon. Worth looking into......

Our mattress is actually a pillow top, but added a egg crate mattress along with 1 1/2 in. memory. We cover our self with a Goose Down comforter. I like it bed better than the home.

We started with egg create style multi zone from kohl's. It was not enough. Changed that for a memory foam topper from Walmart. It is great. Was right around a hundred.

Hard mattress

I'm not sure if anyone else has this question, but our mattresses are heated so do you think putting on a topper would create a problem? Must do something since our Rockwood mattress feels like we're sleeping on a rock! It may be worth adding the memory foam topper and forgetting the heat. Love the camper otherwise.
