No experience camping there, but here's a couple of results to get started:

Morefield Campground - Mesa Verde National Park - Camping (U.S. National Park Service)
A&A Mesa Verde RV Park - Mesa Verde RV Park - Camping - Cabins in Southwest Colorado
Mesa Verde RV Resort - Mesa Verde RV Resort | Colorado Campground | Mesa Verde National Park
Sundance RV Park - Visiting Mesa Verde? Camp at Sundance RV Park in Cortez, Colorado
Echo Basin Ranch - Echo Basin Ranch - Mancos, Colorado
Jackson Gulch Res - Colorado State Parks (No power)

That last one, we've driven past on our way to see some family in Rico and everytime we pass by there, we say that we're going to stay there sometime. Just haven't done it yet. I prefer more of the treed/forest areas over some of the flat deserty type spots...so I think the lake would be my first choice. Anyway, I hope that helps out some. You're heading to some beautiful areas on that West side of the Rockies. Have fun!

Joe

The Morefield campground inside the park has full hook-up sites and takes reservations. I have been there before and have a reservation for this May.

Here's a thought....
We were there last June.
I sometimes camp right in the thick of it but sometimes
like to get away.

Some things to consider.... This is the high country.
It's not that hot most of the time, especially in June.
We felt like we had pretty much seen Mesa Verde in one
full day of touring.

We stayed at a little Colorado state park called
Mancos state park.
Colorado State Park

It was only a couple miles off the beaten path but it
was quiet and scenic and right in the tall Ponderosa pines.
We were there 5 nights because we also drove into
Durango where we rode the famous Durango to Silverton
narrow gauge Steam RR. THAT is awesome!!!
We also rode our motorcycle up the scenic highway to
Telluride and rode the free cable car up over the mountain.

Mancos does not have any hookups but they have water and
a dump station and peace and quiet and great views.

So you have to decide, are you campers or tourists???

In case you're interested, I have a slide show of our
2010 vacations listed in this thread--

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...how-10676.html

About 2/3 of the way thru are the Mesa Verde pictures
and train ride and Telluride visit and the CG at Mancos SP.

What ever you decide---
Happy Camping!!
