Microwave
Do must people remove their microwave glass turntable when traveling? Our microwave is up high, and trying to align the turntable correctly to enable spinning is a real hassle.

Some people cut a pool noodle and stick it between top and glass to prevent it moving during travelling.

We just cut a 13" square piece if toolbox liner, lay it on the roller mechanism and turn the glass carousel upside down for traveling. Doesn't move at all.

All suggestions above are good ideas. Anything that will fit in there and keep it stable will do.
I have someone in the rig that has a habit of knocking that turntable off center. We carry a small E-Z fold stool to get high enough to align it ... like this one...

I use the tube from paper towels. Cut in half and put one half into the other then pull out enough to hold the plate down. Been using this setup for 7 yrs.

I've read the reports and said I was going to either take the glass tray out or stuff the microwave. So far, I normally forget to do either with no ill result. Only once in 5 years did the door come open and the glass tray come out of the microwave. Our new A-frame has the microwave door facing forward - don't know whether that is better or worse. Forward facing by the door is handier for our style of camping where we cook and eat outside except for the microwave.

We have never done anything with two different TTs and never had a problem.

We once had a piece of thick foam that we folded to put downward pressure on the turntable so it could not bounce. Haven't seen it lately.[emoji848]

After thousands of miles towing on rough roads and bouncing bridge approaches, this is the first time I've ever heard about it being a problem...but now that you've planted this seed in my head I guess I'll need to do something about it!

We use it as our bread box. Usually a loaf or two of bread or hamburger/hotdog buns in there. If there is additional room, we put other items in to fill the space. Basically used as an additional food cabinet.
Never had squashed bread or the round turntable move and have to be realigned.

Same here. Bread, potato chips, etc... goes first into the microwave.
Seems to work, no issues yet of the glass platter disappearing!
