It might come out the next time you drain the black tank.

There are many things you can use to get the spoon.
Chinese fingers
Magnet on a flexible cable.
Endoscope with camera and magnet attachment.

Check to see if a magnet will attach to the other spoons/forks. If so, you could attach a magnet to the end of a fish tape or even a strong string and drop it into the toilet. Do some fishing around and see if the magnet grabs the spoon.

Maybe a large magnet placed on the stinky slinky might catch it when draining the black tank.

If you drain through a clear section, you may see it. I would fill the tank with water now and dump.

I guess you have to ask yourself:
1. How valuable is the spoon?
2. How bad do you want it back?

Nor do you want it to go into the cg sewer and clog that up if at all possible. It’s one of those “#$&* happens” kinda deals that Murphy guy pulls from time to time.

If he does get it back I can hear the kids now at the dinner table---"Is this the spoon that was in the poop tank?" Followed by parent saying "No, but if you don't behave I'll make you eat your dinner with it." (after cleaned of course).
If the OP does recover it just put it in a pan of water and boil it for half an hour or so. Spoon will be fine, just put it in with the rest of the set.

You want to get it out if you can. Test your other spoons to see if they are magnetic. Yes, some stainless steel is magnetic.

Don't care about the spoon. Poured in at once at least 5 gallons of water directly down the toilet drain with the drain Valve OPEN. Seems like the black water drain line is large enuf to pass it thru ? Time will tell, ....

Until it lodges sideways in the opening to the drain pipe and you get a huge wad of toilet paper wrapped around it!

I would think the weight of the spoon will keep it just sitting on the bottom. Once you move the trailer that will probably change. If you are lucky, the waste line you dropped it in is a straight down shot to the tank and you can fish it out. Otherwise you may have to fish from the valve end and that will be an ugly thought. I too would be concerned about it getting hung and a buildup of paper or waste backing up around it.
