MS

We have some friends and the wife has MS. They have been active until her condition deteriorated in the last couple of years. They used to love camping backpacking, tent camping. They have always had sailboats, and he was even able to modify the sailboat to create a pulley lift that would allow them to get her on the boat without picking her up herself. He made a swing type lift that he attached to the boat sail something, don't know what it's called, I think it's a boom. So he is pretty handy. They don't want to stop camping so back in the spring they purchased a toy hauler and he
modified it so that she could get in and out with her scooter wheelchair Walker without him having to physically pick her up. They would love to have a motorhome that would have a lift built-in to get her into the motorhome. Has anybody had something of that nature or done a conversion themselves that could give us some guidance on this. Thanks for your help.

I know that I have seen some travel trailers that have lift systems at the front door and extra-wide paths inside, but I've never seen a MoHo with those features.

Google up "RV Wheelchair Lifts".
It will bring up dozens of sites and a lot of manufacturers of lifts for both trailers and motor homes.
