My wife- insane scrapbooker

She goes on these scrapbooking weekends at scrapbook crack houses. A bunch of hens all take their stuff to a house that literally is dedicated to hosting these events. There are usually 3-5 bedrooms with 2-3 beds per room. She does it with a couple of crews of women and goes to different places every few months.

The next place she's going to in a couple of weeks is a new place. This is where she's insane (if you made it past all of the above without thinking it)... this new place is 2 full/double beds and a sleeper sofa to sleep 6 women! Yes, that means 3 beds with 2 people per bed. And they're not even queen+ sized beds. She won't entertain the idea of taking the camper and using it from the parking lot. I've offered to take it up, set it up and go retrieve it. I'm sure the place would let her use a 15amp outlet if she asked.

I think she's bat crap crazy for not considering it!

I think you'd better hope she doesn't read your post!

If she does *you* may need that 5er or a month or three!

<never got the scrapbooking bug.

My Achilles heel is eBay and Amazon.

My hubby has taken our 5th wheel out for me and my sewing friends, he also set it up for me to host parties, it works for both of us, he comes home and plays on his computer. As for me and my friends we sew and wine

Why is it that they (the women) always say we're "playing" on the computer? Keeping up on these forums is seriously hard work.....(wiping sweat from furrowed brow)

There is nothing I say here that I don't say to her! She knows I think she's a bit nutty. But then again, we compliment each other nicely!

She's amassed such a collection that she hasn't bought anything but adhesive in a long time. The weekends cost from a lodging and food perspective, but it's not awful. I certainly have more expensive hobbies at times...
