My yearly rant

Ok I have learned in the past month from another site

My truck is to small
My mirrors are to big
I must have a diesel to pull a 4x8 empty trailer
I cant use my propane cause it might run out
Got to have a cb radio and monitor channel 13
The world is coming to an end and the the sky is falling.
The new digital tv means I can never watch it again unles I spend more money.
Oh did I mention my mirrors are to big?

Ok I will have another yearly rant next year unless I decide its needed monthly.

disclaimer I am no expert but who am I and I have no clue and my mirrors are to big.

Happy Camping and Travel safe, Mike

Yeah, the rest of us were talking about those friggin big mirrors. Kinda embarassing really. we were figuring out who should mention it to you, but we decided the falling sky will likely hit them and break them off. Hard to miss them, that's for sure.

But on the plus side, you can look at them instead of the static on the TV!

maybe what we need is a new catagory on this sight just for ranting, like what they did for rv finanaces. people could gripe about anything from taxes to goverment to oversized mirrors and dare i say spouses or mother-in-laws.
lol

Must have been rv net

Not just any diesel. You'd better have at least a 3500 DRW.

P.S. Could you PLEASE fold those freakin big mirrors in a bit?

I feel your pain & here are my standard replies to "those people". Feel free to use them if you care to...

1. It's big enough to run you over. Stand still let me show you...
2. They give me that extra reach to clip your fat head when I drive by...
3. I can't answer this one as I have a diesel but I'll drive whatever you want to buy for me...
4. I can't run out because I pay attention to my supplies...
5. I tossed by CB out after Smokey & the Bandit. If I want to listen to garbage I'll turn on Springer...
6. I am immortal and don't really care...
7. DVD's will play just fine and with no commercials...

He'll need a wide angle lens. They're HUGE. Like Dodge came out with a Dumbo Edition or something. The Prince Charles of Trucks. I saw him coming once and thought for a second I had taken a wrong turn onto a runway.

Fun thread! you can rant anytime!

I'm not even gonna touch Nina's comment. Oh, the filthy minds some campers have.

yep them mirrors remind me of frankenstein arm holding a flat plate
they are huge, do they fold or just hit drivethus?
my old 92 ford had huge airfoils on it for mirrors as well, i was forever hitting drive thrus and some folks in other lanes

and as for that 4x8 trailer, i beleive the weight police not require you to have a heavy duty truck, not less than 80k gross weight to handle the added load
a big volvo or mack is in your future

Who needs mirrors?
Why would you want to see where you've already been?
Just fold them in, and watch yourself....age.

With the addition of dual rear wheels, a supercharger, 18 speed road ranger gearbox, 2 JATO rocket packs and warp drive I now believe my F-150 could drag my daughters Radio Flyer wagon across the level part of the yard.

By the way Mike, better lay off the 12 volt accesories, wouldn't want to run the battery down and have to crank the off-brand (not a Honda) generator

But I know of one security guard at work that won't reach out for my my ID too soon! Even mirror extensions will bite. They all back up now.
