It doesn’t appear that this method inconveniences or fines the offenders in any significant way. All they need to do is put the box that came on the mail into their household trash. A better method would be to fine them for littering and ban them from the parks.

It's funny, but in the end, it costs the park money to mail it, and it only mildly inconveniences the offenders. I agree that fines and/or banning from the park is a much better idea.

Thailand is a different culture. Mailing their trash back to them shamed them.
That is a very bad thing.
Here in the good ole USA lots of folks have no shame.

I've always "Pack out, what you pack in." We even haul our trash home from the cabin. Most people in the area just burn it.

True, but thankfully 99 percent of us RVers would never leave trash in a park.
