If you're looking for cheap and easy, Sam's Club or Costco are pretty good bang for your buck. If you're looking for higher end, that will turn in to a pretty long thread.

Trojan T105 are a very good choice. You can buy battery boxes on Amazon they will fit in. Here is what I did in my Landmark for two 6 volt with proper venting. Click image for larger version

There are few batter mfg in the USA. SO any US made golf cart 6v battery shoud be fine. For bigger bucks the Trojan 6v , usually found on boats is a better product, but any batt needs to be operated properly.

A genuine deep cycle batt will have a "20" hour rating , finding a CCC or MCC rating means a starting or multi purpose batt which is NOT good for camping use , avoid them!!!!

If you boondock a SOC (state of charge) system should be installed as it is the ONLY "gas gauge" for battery charge that is easy to use.

My favorite,,,,there are many others.

TriMetric Battery Monitor - - Bogart Engineering

www.bogartengineering.com/products/trimetrics.html
○Measures battery % full, based on amp hour measurements for accurate information on state of charge (SOC). This method is more accurate than monitors ...
