Need help connecting a new television
I want to install a television in our "new to us" 2011 Rockwood Mini Lite. The previous owner kept the one that was in it. Here's the thing: I know where to attach the coax for the antenna or park cable, but how do I connect to the Genesis system in order to use the DVD player, speakers etc. The TV has several possible ways to connect but not one that looks like it will work with the wall plug-in provided next to the tv/satellite and antenna booster. Thanks for any helpon how to put a 2016 tv into a 2011 trailer.

Can you post a picture of what's on the wall? We have Genesis 3.0 and ours has HDMI. The older versions probably ran RCA cables which were yellow (video), red and white (L and R audio).

Are there any wires like ov845 mentioned above laying around where the previous tv was?

If I remember correctly...my tv has one yellow rca plug that comes from the Genesis system and plugs into the tv. The DVD plays over the stereo speakers.

None. Just the plug-in next to the antenna/cable coax connections.

Isn't that an rca plug to the left of the antenna?

Any color? Do I plug it in to the back of the tv in any particular spot? Yes, I have not done this before and I am not techno smart. But I follow directions well

Plug an RCA cable to the yellow input of the tv and set the tv to that source then plug the other end into the RCA plug on the wall set the radio to that source

Yes any RCA type cable will work. On the back of the TV you should have a spot that says VIDEO IN and that's where you connect it. Now to watch a DVD you have to change input selection on TV to get picture. Audio will be from your Genesis unit.

Use 3M command hooks the really small ones. Place one right side up and the next one upside inline with first one then lace your wires thru. Keeps wires neat and allows T.V. to swivel. Choose placement wisely if you can, placing them higher might just keep wires from drooping or something like that.

Great idea on the command hooks for the wires. I'm a believer in the command products (hooks, mounting velcro strips, etc.). I like the idea that you can remove them without damage to surfaces if you follow the instructions. I may have some of the small ones left from Christmas lights. Thanks

Glad you got it figured out. IF you have the Genesis 2.0 model..here's a link to the manual for future reference. GENESIS GT-2.0 OPERATION MANUAL Pdf Download.
