need measuremet off 2019 GeoPro 19FD

our 2019 Geopro 19FD is in winter storage over an hour from our home so I have a question for fellow owners of the same unit

I need the measurement Height and width for the access opening for the head of the Murphy bed.
I am not please with the major issues we have had with this unit since purchased in April of this year. 8 cabinet doors had to be replaced, the bracket holding the sewer dump broke, antenna base damaged beyond repair front the factory, the base drawer for the bench seat fell apart and now the support for the aluminum frame to the bed has pulled away from the 1/8 inch panel it was screwed into with 2 inch screws from the factory.

I am cutting a piece of 1/2 inch good one side plywood for the support and want to attach a piano hinge to the cut out for access to under the bed.

A rough estimate would be very much appreciated.

Sorry man, mine is already covered up and hibernating for winter. I heard of others having the issues you have, but I've lucked out so far, had none of those. But I've only used it 5 times this year, towed 1200 miles maybe. If it makes you feel any better, I had a bad AC unit from day 1 (warranty replacement), leaky hose connections in water filter bay, and I just discovered when winterizing the outdoor shower hose was somehow crushed or melted and needs to be replaced. Oh, and the center rib on ceiling on either side of A/C, the finish seems to be delaminating.

any of your cabinet doors look like these?

my doors had one clip in the middle of the 45 degree joints and no glue.
they replaced them all under warranty and told me to toss the originals.

I'll look again in Spring, but mine are still tight last time I looked, somebody else posted about that. Guy who did my hose clamps must have done your doors!

I would keep some of those old doors to use the scrap to make repairs if anything gets dinged or damaged down the road. My warranty just expired.

my plan is to sell or trade in the spring. We have a 38 foot 5th wheel toy hauler besides this one and if its been a nightmare from the lot in April it can only get better lol.
all I need is that darn measurement so I can build something over the winter to fix this problem.

That's one of the reasons I won't upgrade, even though wife would like one with a slide out. I finally got things right, and am hoping everything stays right for awhile. I'll measure mine if I get a chance to get in there again, but I"m sure somebody will beat me to it.

Hope the delamination isn't from water intrusion.

I think it's from the cold air shooting out of the A/C, it's only happening a little bit at the edge of the center trim strip, which seems to be covered with a shelving paper- like material. That's what I mean about delaminating, the coating is not adhering well. When I pulled the AC unit interior trim to add the optional heat strip, I could not see any signs of water intrusion.

I’m not sure where the measurements you want are, but I just went out and did some measuring for you. If these don’t work, let me know and I’ll try again.

Left to right (side of closet to side of closet = 55 1/2 inches
Height from floor to roof = 78 inches
Height from floor to top of footboard (with Murphy bed closed) = 70 inches
Height from hinge to roof = 53 3/4 inches.

I’ll try to post a couple pics.

Is that an RV blanket or pillow? Cute, where did you get it?

It’s some polar fleece material my wife bought at a fabric store (JoAnn Fabrics). She backed it with some grey fleece and made a blanket.
