New 23SS ROO 2011???
HI, Yesterday we picked up our New 23SS ROO and it was registered as a 2011 Model. As near as I can tell it was being built on February 18th of this year by dates on some areas of inspection by the factory. I.E. Tank Sensor area etc.....
Are the newly built Roos really 2011 models.......
Thanks
Tom

Take a look at your VIN
Note the VIN at the top of the sticker; this is a ’06 model year Rockwood Roo. When you call Forrest River about an issue with one of their units, they ask you for the last 8 digits of your VIN. The first one of those digits (or the 8th digit from the last) is the model year of the unit.

They ran out of numbers in 2009, and have started over in the alphabet. A is 2010, B is 2011. It is the 8th digit from the right, or the 10th digit of the standard 17 digit VIN.

Okay , the 8th digit is a B so it is a 2011 model. albeit an early model......
I'll take pics and you can tell me if there are any differences.
Thank Tom

I was wondering the same thing about my model year. I picked up a new Roo 19 this past weekend and assumed it was an 2010, but the buyers order showed 2011. My VIN does show a "B" as the 8th character.
Thanks for the helpful info!
