New Cupboard door issue

We took possession of our Wildcat Maxx 262RGX the first of May. While opening the cupboard door next to the pantry, it snapped at the seam. Looking at the other doors in the 5th wheel, no other doors are made the way this one is. All doors have the side rails running from top to bottom with smaller rails in the middle. This one has the long rails running the entire upper and lower part of the door with the smaller one in the middle. When opening this door the stress is placed on the upper rail where it is the weakest. Our dealer was to send for a new one. When i called today to see if it was in they informed me yes it was but it was just like the one that broke, we just needed to be careful opening it. Now with the way they have handled other issues with the trailer I don't think they even sent for one and we are just picking up a door they have on the premises. Does anyone have contact numbers where I can talk to the company and get answers directly? Maybe someone has the same model that they can look and see if their doors are different. Any help would be appreciated. Judy

A few pieces of information:
The vertical members of the frame are called stiles while the horizontal members are known as rails. A basic frame and panel item consists of a top rail, a bottom rail, two stiles, and a panel. This is a common method of constructing cabinet doors and these are often referred to as a five piece door.

This is a standard cabinet practice, to provide strength to the door, now the caveat, it doesn't matter the orientation of the door, the hinge always attaches to the longer stile. Hope this helps.

You could re-glue and add pocket screws or pocket screw the new one for reinforcement if that helps. I cannot imagine why it broke on that side. Latch side? Maybe. One of my cabinet doors you gotta snatch on to open the wedge type roller catch is so strong/stiff.

Ditto on the screw pockets. Maybe try some metal reinforcements, at the joints, on the back side. If you don't have a Kreg pocket guide, the metal, from a box store, would be better.

Thanks all for the tips. We went to the dealer yesterday and picked up the new door and it already is bent a little. I am pretty sure they got it off another trailer. My husband showed the worker and he just shrugged his shoulders. He says Forest River says that they are all made this way and they are trying to work on a new design. Pretty odd that it is the only door in the trailer made like this. My husband already thought he would have to add metal at each seam to reinforce it. We had them take us into another coach to identify a couple of switches that are not marked in ours ( he didn't know what they were for) and the door in that coach is already cracked so some unsuspecting buyer will get the same issue we have.

A couple of corner braces like these will stiffen the door. just use the proper length screws on the inside of the door.
