That's a good one to check. Just leave the cap a smidge loose. The cap vent may plugged or they never drilled the cap vent holes.

This could be a spark issue such as an ignition coil cutting out from heat stress. If it shuts off, does it immediately start or do you have to let it cool down? I'd consider the trade for a replacement.

Dont even fool with it. Take it back.

I think you only get one free replacement on the extended warranty. And, I don't believe that the replacement unit is eligible for another extended warranty.



HF has gotten taken advantage of too much in the past, and they are closing their loopholes... especially on the "big ticket" items.
