New Rig

Not sure if this belongs here but I purchased a new 2015 F150 Ecoboost to tow our Forest River Hybrid and I wanted to share. Click image for larger version

Nice truck. What size engine? Maybe you could do a review after towing.

Of course I went with the 3.5L Ecoboost. Stayed away from the 2.7, just didn't think towing with a 2 1/2 liter motor was the way to go. Especially if we upgrade in the future to a 30' or bigger TT.
This truck has the 3.5 Eco with a 355 rear end, tow package, and it towed my 21' Forest River Hybrid like it was a stroller. Ran up hills with plenty left in it. The twin turbos seem to leave you with power ready to go even after you eat up the hill or pass someone etc. I bought it Wednesday and Friday we towed 2 hours with it to a KOA in Copake, NY. Flawless.

Looks good....don't know about Ford but I know GM cautions about towing with a new truck for about the first 500 miles...

I have the same setup in my 2014 f150. It pulled my old 27tbss great it was around 6k lbs. My new RV is 9k lbs and is too heavy without some major suspension upgrades. I tow it with my 06 F350 Diesel. But the ecoboost is a beast when it comes to power. Just wish I had gotten the Max tow package.

Nice looking rig!
