Thumbs down New season, not fixed yet

Hello all!

New owner of a shamrock 183 2013.....camping was fun till we bought this unit! .........

A new season has begun and I still don't have my "new" trailer...

Brought it in last October ,Picted it up 2nd week of april.....they claim to have replace the tarps on the three beds......they did not !!!
they were removed and sent for repair...

-It was returned to me ,with silicone all over the outside the tarps ar dirty and look like they have ten years of usage!!!!
-
the aluminum part at the bottom where the tarps attach are bowed on all three bed!!!

-the rear bumper was damaged and they spray painted the scratch hoping I wouldn't see it!

Since then it has returned to the dealer(AlcoVR ) and they are taking theyre sweet time in repairing it ,The New deliveries are more important it seems

I Can Safely say that This Shamrock 183 HAS ruined camping for My Wife ,KIDS and Me.

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. I believe most of the problems are communications at the dealers. They don't talk to each other and have many people working on units that just don't care. The service manager is always the one that Doesn't know what's going on. Same stories all over. Hopefully you get your camper back and can enjoy and get the family excited about camping once more.

I just wish forest river would reprimand these dealers for not supporting the people who buy they're product!!
Show some sign that we the consumers that buy the product have some kind of support
We feel ridiculed and severely abused since we thought we had upgraded from a tent trailer...
It's a shame'

I lost last weeks long week end because they didn't fix anything yet!
As of last Saturday I was told it would be done for today…
Nope, lost another week end of camping .
Now I was told it was going into garage today,I will return tomorow morning to see,but I don't have high expectations .

They've only had my unit there since October 2013.....

!!customer service does not exist!!

I feel your pain. Mine was dropped off 10/30/2013. I was just advised by the dealer I should call FR and Lippert because they can't get answers/approvals on what repairs to do. The tire company sent the replacement tires back in Feb. At least I have dates and correspondences the dealer sent with all the pictures of the slideout and axle measurements.....I am sure they will blame the dealer somehow.

You are playing games with them. Actually you are letting them play games with you. Get a lawyer. Hit! They will not understand anything else.

I have found out that my dealer, Out of Doors Mart, is guilty of fraud. They charged me and my insurance company for repairs that were not done as billed. I've got a tough job ahead of me and it's looks like so do you.

I agree. My dealer has no communications with each other, they have no time limits and they don't seem to treat anything like it was their own. Customer service most places are non existent anymore. You are not the only one in this boat. My trailer is just over a year old and has been back to the dealer more times then it's been out camping. Almost twice as much. Sad but true unfortunately.

Marco, idiot is not written on your forehead, it's the people who are putting on the third tent. They should hire people who know what they are doing. In the meantime, they are posing off the people without idiot written on their forehead while they are pissing away money paying people who they should not have hired.
I've been through it too.
Hope that helps.

Maybe I should start putting the dealers name down to warn people, but it sounds like it's everyone. Anyone have a dealer/ service dealer that we SHOULD be buying from?

I see you are from Cincinnati. Would this dealer be on the northwest loop by chance? I've heard some horror stories about them if it is.
