I've got a question about the water pump. We have never dry camped and probably never will but who knows. My question is this, do I need to use the water pump when connected to city water or is it only connected to the fresh water tank

On a side note, sometimes water at campgrounds is at a very high pressure. Be sure to use a pressure regulator.

You will only need the water pump when pumping from your water tank. The pressure from your city water connection will do when hooked to it.
That's what I thought but just needed confirmation. And I do have a water pressure regulator. It was one of the first things I bought after a good friend told me about his lines blowing out under excessive pressure on their first outing.
