My wife and I have narrowed our choice between two Forester models:
1. Forester 3011DSF
2. Forester 2401W (diesel)
Neither of us have ever driven or ridden in an RV before. We test drove a Sunseeker 3010DS and the Forester 2401W. The 32’ Sunseeker’s ride felt bouncy (no offense to all the owners out there), fairly noisy behind the cockpit and a lot of sway, while the 2401W was much more stable and quiet.
My question: is the larger class C (ie, greater than 28’) observation noted above due to the longer/heavier chassis? Or is it because we’ve never ridden/driven one before and the user will get used to this?
Any and all suggestions and recommendations are needed.
Could be the dealer didnt have the 3011 setup with proper tire pressure and air bags set to at least 60# When I test drove an early 2400w sunseeker couldn't believe the sway compared to my 2650s, it was mostly due to underinflated bags and tires And yes the 3011 will be noiser than the Ford
