Antenna

You have an omni-directional antenna connected up there. Curious...why is the cable running down that vent...?

It is NOT a satellite antenna. Boy can you get some bad information here. Its a multidirectional antenna which usually is not very good unless you are in a strong signal area. It hooks directly to the TV or to a signal booster then to the tv. Get rid of it.

I think we give a lot of good and helpful information here. I didn't see anyone say it was a satellite.

Nobody said it is a satellite antenna. Take it down a notch or two, woodya?

It is definitely aftermarket. And a poor excuse for an OTA antenna. I would remove it ( caulk well) and add a Jack Antenna.

The is an over the air antenna. I had the same unit on an older RV that I owned. This is an amplified 360 non directional over the air antenna.

Post number 3 says it looks like a dish. They may have meant it doesn't look like a dish but someone did in fact say it looked like one.

ETA: Just saw the pic- it does look like a satellite to me. Did you buy the rig used? It might have been installed by the previous owner.
