Nitrogen tire fill
Where do you find nitrogen "air" pumps for tires?
New to this, not like the gas station will have one.
Thanks,

All air compressors pump nitrogen.
The air you breath is 78% nitrogen.

Please do a search on this subject.
There a current very active thread already going strong on the subject.
As a former tire salesman, my opinion is that it's a scam to fleece the public out of their money.

100% Nitrogen is more dimensionally stable that standard air. Meaning, as it heats up, it expands less than air. It also contains less moisture, which also impacts heat-based expansion. In race cars, tire pressures are critical. I could feel a difference in how my car handled from even a 1 psi change. Racers started filling their tires with nitrogen to reduce pressure gains from heating up the tires. There is a reason I had a $150 tire pressure gauge when I raced
Non-racers looked and said, "If racers do it, it must be better!". Unscrupulous marketers jumped on that idea and started promoting that its better to use 100% nitrogen.
It is a colossal waste of money. There are ZERO benefits to using 100% nitrogen, unless you need to tighten up your campers entry into turn 3 during the latter part of a race.

Anyone or any company that promotes the use of "nitrogen filled tires" for general highway use (meaning not a race car, etc.) is either ignorant of facts or is benefiting somehow from the promotion.
This includes the Ricky-racers in their Audis and Porches ...

I think most people forget that different people like different stuff and swear by it. I see no problem with people that want to put nitrogen in there tires, after all it's there money and what's a waste of money to you may not be to someone else. It's my money and I just don't think it's right for someone else to say it's dumb if I want to fill my truck with nitrogen. Everyone has a opinion and opinions is like butt holes, everyone has one. The only opinion I place value on is mine. Do what makes you happy.

Nobody cares if you fill your tires with air, nitrogen, water, beet juice or green slime. We're just saying there are no benefits to nitrogen and it is equivalent to snake-oil.
Believe what you want...

What might not be a benefit to you might be a benefit to me, it's not your money I'm spending

I repurposed a nitrogen tank and an old regulator I had in the shop. Strapped it to a harbor freight hand truck and it's my portable fill station. Cost me $25 bucks to fill the tank and at 2200 PSI, that little tank has filled dozens of tires and saved me a ton of work over the years.
That said, if I had to buy everything new... Not worth the investment.

Well it's kinda like the 100 gallon fuel tank I have in the truck, I won't ever save enough money to pay for it.

Since there is-no-benefit, what is beneficial to you?

When I was shopping for a f250 diesel, I located one at a dealership. On the add on sticker it listed nitrogen filled tires $100.00. I was told by the sales manager that item was not negotiable. I purchased a f250 at another dealership. My windjammer was purchased with "nitrogen filled tires " . I do not see the difference. Just a lot of hype.

It's all hype, fill your tires with what ever you want. IMO, there isn't any difference in performance of the tires whether it is 78% or 100% nitrogen.
