Wow!
And the nut holding the left side is just run up against the receiver plate. It barely touches the plate! Even a washer would have helped... a little bit!
Some folks will do anything!

I'm surprised they didn't utilize the safety chain!

I think the top set of bolts is for the 5th wheel.

I can see a tab/ear coming off the left side of the receiver where that bolt is so it's not QUITE that bad...but still a candidate for the Darwin Awards.

the problem is that they wont take themselves out, they will take someone else out! as they say with snow plows: Stay back, Stay alive!

its a jeep, just buy the dern hitch for it and be done!

this is at a boat ramp, so that kind of explains whats going on here...

Think I saw that on an episode of the "Red Green" show, but there was duct tape involved.

And that barely qualifies as a partial on the license plate, so we can’t call it in.

I think that the loose nut is behind the steering wheel.

Putting all those holes in the tailgate was dumb. I would've just used the wiper.

Wouldn't that make the trailer sway a lot when you turn the wiper on.

Guys come on, look closer . That's a ford with a custom factory ordered hitch. Read your manual. That a 1000.oo option. Ford tried to sell me one when I purchased my new truck, I told them no I didn't like the fact it wasn't on the front of the vehicle

I think if you combine the upper plate and the lower plate that will allow the option for a 5th wheel hitch.

By the way using the 5th will option requires you to upgrade to the Firestone 500 tires.

Available only on the Ford Exploder.

Looks like someone found a new use for the mounting bolts for the spare tire carrier. Honest office I didn't realize hooking a hitch up to my rear lift gate would cause it to rip off going over bridge overpass...
