What about a distorted picture when phone was pairing? My last wireless back up camera would have a distorted picture until my phone finished pairing.

Yesterday we picked up our 2019 Grand Design Momentum 351m Toy Hauler. We spent the night in it at the dealership where they had 50amp, water and a dump station if needed. Instead of driving to a campground and having any issues we figured stay at the dealership so they can fix any problems. We ran everything and couldn’t be happier, no issues with the “Shakedown”, I absolutely love this 5th wheel.
While my better half organized the inside I installed the Haloview MC7108 Observation/back up camera (with sound and recording)instead of the Furion. The camera is compatible with the furion pre wiring if you purchase the haloview bracket and adapter wire. I am very happy with the picture quality. I was also very surprised of the reception/range that it has. I turned the unit on, drive away and it stayed connected for about 300 yards before losing connection. Sorry, I got side tracked, the Grand Design Momentum 351m is pretty awesome.

Being part of the FROG Family we met some great people who we still keep in contact with. This community is absolutely the best, this forum is great and I will be trolling for advice and tips here but I will be a good Troll lol. As much as I hate to admit it the Grand Design Forum cannot compete with Forest River Forum and I will leave it at that.

We personally want to wish everyone the best. Keep the rubber side down and continue making the best of memories with friends and family. Happy camping all!!

Here are pictures of the old and the new. Attachment 202675Attachment 202676

Friends of my wife just bought that same model a year ago, they love it and travel all over with husbands Racing Motorcycle they like that they can be at a track with no connections and use the genset so far minor issues but their dealer hasn’t been much help, he hired a mobile tech to help him but anyway nice model and good luck.

We too are no longer Forest River owners, as of 5-3-19 we traded in our Rockwood mini lite 2109S. We bought the mini brand new in 2015 and loved our introduction to camping in it for 5 years. Although we had a couple of minor issues with it over the years we owned it, it was a great little unit. During the first TWO years it was under warranty, Forest River covered the repairs for us.All brands have their issues, and I hear a lot of bashing of Forest River, but I will certainly stand up for them !. We now have an Imagine by Grand Design, and look forward to many good years with them. It’s been a pleasure to be part of the F R family... Thanks to all for your sharing.

We had our Forest River for 3 years and never had a problem with it. We wanted a Toy Hauler because we plan on snowbirding in a couple of years and want to bring “toys”. There is only one FR Toy Hauler we were interested in ( can’t remember the model)which is on the FR website. After inquiring about it after searching numerous dealers, none of which had the Hauler so we called FR. They decided to list it on there site but it was still being manufactured. The woman from FR said they jumped the gun and put it on the website before it was even completed and ready to go out. They really didn’t have an answer to when it would be on the market so we looked into Grand Design and fell in love. Yes we could have waited but wanted to see the unit in person if we wanted to wait possibly 6 months to a year but didn’t want to wait.

I have had 4 trailers in 6-7 years, started with 2012 Shasta bought it used did me well for a little over a year, layout was not good but FR helped us with some small issues, then traded for a 2015 Rockwood Roo 23ikss, good little unit but the tent ends were annoying bc you hear all the noise and shower was a bad layout, then we got a used 2013 Prime Time Crusader 295RST, great unit, but after a year wife got tired of the Dark Cherry Interior, and our big mistake was going to RV shows, where we found our final unit and first Brand New Unit I owned so we bought a Keystone Montana, 3121RL Fully loaded only option we did not get was Legacy Package and Full Body Paint. I liked all my units but realized after buying them there were little things that were off however FR stood behind us and helped us even with the Shasta, and Crusader which were not under warranty , I bought Roo with an ex GF so after we split had to trade or sell it so then we got the Crusader. We did like the Cedar Creek units just a little pricey and heavier then I wanted to pull, yes all of them have their fair share of issues, I never count on a dealer to help bc once the sale is over they really don’t care but if you can work with MFG and they back you that is most important to us. I have only owned the 2 Brands but have been very happy with the support to date, however in 1-2 years we will be buying a house, so we will keep this Montana and who knows what the future Brings, wouldn’t rule out another FR model but never buying new ever again.

Ace when we head down your way Shari and I will definitely make arrangements to meet up with you and Les.
Although we no longer own a Forest River we still feel like part of the family.
