Option #1 is to get a rack that is "trailer-qualified." I know Swagman makes some. Check etrailer.com.
Option #2: Try the rack you have and see how it goes. I have a Thule TH990XT (see here: https://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-Bike-...e/TH990XT.html
) that's NOT "trailer-qualified." But I've been using it on the back of my Roo and Mini Lite for over 7 years, plus lots of time on the back of my pickup truck. It's working just fine.

I've added LED lights so when the cover is on and blocking the trailer tail lights, I still have lights.
