Out in the West
Here in San Diego, Southern Calif, there does not seem to be a lot of used Forest River Coaches available. Is this because they are an Eastern Mfg, because the company doesn't make many a year, or what I am hoping for is, they are so great no once wants to get rid of theirs? Opinions please. I just bought one yesterday based on my likings and then, now are looking deep into them.
thx in advance.

All of the Forest River products that come to Alaska are built in the Oregon plant near Portland.

At the moment, there are not a lot of rv's available anywhere due to everyone buying them up. There's a huge demand for new and used rvs.
It also may be a testament to their quality. If you're happy with your rv, you tend to keep it longer and not trade in for a different brand.

I assume you are talking about Motorhomes so since you used the term "Coaches".
Around 90% of all RVs are manufacturered in the Midwest, mainly in Indiana. That includes both FR and Thor Industries, the two biggest RV manufacturers.
Only a handful of RVs are made out West and even less make motorhomes.
So West Coast dealers have have them delivered from 2000 miles away. The delivery costs are the biggest factor in why RVs cost so much more out West.
And as was said, since Covid hit, RV sales have hit all time highs. So all RVs, used and new, have gotten harder to find.

I'm going to go with "B". When we were looking for our current coach (XL 378) there were only a few this side of the Rockies. Ours was "shipped" from the factory to Louisiana where it was ordered/purchased, then migrated to Oregon to a large multi dealership outfit. We saw it online and they brought it down to the Central Valley where we bought it. It had 7500 miles on the clock after our test drive, most of that was driving from dealership to dealership around the country.

Boomer generation retirements and pandemic inspired remote working have created an unfulfilled demand wave for RVs and campsites. The shortages will continue for some years, IMHO

Advertise it on the West Coast and stand aside so you don't get trampled.
Maybe a $35 ad in RV Trader would get some visibility.
Maybe offer free delivery?

There are many of us who reside in CA that roll with the FR3. I can name you 4 who probably are reading this post right now :-)
Most are made in Indiana, but sent a around the country. It might be advertising I never see advertising ether than at an RV show our here, I do see more Winnebago's than FR3, but to your point, we're out here in California...

In my active search since the beginning of the year that is what I have been hearing everywhere. Also people in the know say new Coaches are not being released because they are not complete; therefore, the dealers are buying as much used stock as possible so they have sellable product on their lots?
