OUTLAND fire pits
Hello & Happy New Year,
I have seen the past discussion posts about the round Outland Fire Pits.
I'm looking at the smaller, 14" square Outland Living Fire Cube 805 model.
Does anyone out there have thoughts; good, bad & ugly, you are willing to share?
Thanks in advance.

I don't own that model, but i have a fire pit ring I paid $100 for back in 2016. Other then a little rust it still works great... so much easier and efficient then having to deal with expensive wood and smoky fires... I sometimes use it to cook hot dogs and marshmallows as a bonus... I can put it under the awning on a cool evening and it helps to hold the heat in that area also... much more versatile then a campfire... quick to deploy and quick to turn off and go to bed... a have a secondary external 20# tank I use with it

3 years and I'm still thrilled with my Outland. So I'm sure quality carries over to their square model. Pricier though.
**heat output is same for square or round, so I'm sure it's just a matter of your tastes and which one you find a better price on. I see COVID pricing is in effect for all the Outland's right now.

I think the Firecube is a relatively new model so there may not be many using it yet. I have the Cypress model and love it. That said, if the Firecube had been available when I purchased mine I might have gone for it - - same BTU (as Kris said) but smaller and lighter. I know several people with Outland products and all of them are very happy with them and they all are very solid and well built appliances.

I have the Outland 870 and am very happy with it. Great quality and works as advertised.

Thank you all. I've ordered the smaller Fire Cube. The reviews of the brand are very positive!

I recently picked up a propane fire pit and modified it to work on the low pressure connection on my trailer

We have the Camco Big Red Campfire in a can and we love it. Like not having smoke all over our clothes and you just turn the valve off and it's done and you can go inside!
One surprise I just got is how much they cost now - went up by $98 since 2018!

And you can still roast marshmallows over them. Even nicer, you can get close to fire without burning your eyebrows off. And my Outland can go on any surface, it does not get hot beneath. I've used it on wood decks, composite decks, anything goes. Glad I did not modify it for RV use only, because I've taken it to parties, and used it many times outside of RV travels.

I made a simple mod and added a quick connect to the original regulated hose that came with the firepit that allows me to take it anywhere outside of my RV travels for use

Cool. I was surprised how often I use mine when not camping. I always bring along an extra 20# tank when camping to fire up the table top grill and my Coleman stove, so I didn't bother with the quick disconnect to camper stuff.

I have about worn one out. The igniter broke so I light with a butane lighter, other than that it has held up well. I have used mine at home a lot more than on my RV trips for sure. Great to sip a cold one buy on a cool afternoon!
