DOES THE OUTSIDE GRILL THAT ATTACHES TO THE TRAILER
HAVE ANY NEGATIVE EFFECTS,LIKE DICOLORING THE OUT SIDE OF THE TRAILER.DO YOU NEED TO RETRACT THE CANOPE TO USE IT?

I used mine for the first time camping, and I had the awning out with no problems at all. Make sure tha you understand how the mounting bracket set-up works, I had it wrong until I looked at the directions! I also let mine stay out on the sliding bracket farther, and not use the clips, to ensure that it was far enough away from the camper. You also have the option to use it as a tabletop grill, as well. for this hook up as well? I've been wondering about smoke discoloration from cooking burgers and steaks on the side like that. Also heat on the awning.

GREASE splatter was my only issue
it gets on everything
but a spray of some dawn and a rag will keep it in check

I don't use it, because of all of those possible reasons. We use the fire ring.

Ours has never been out of the bag, but only because I use a fullsize. I would think some smoke/grease grime would collect on an awning if you had any BBQ set up under it, particularly in a less-tall TT and with the BBQ kind of centered under the awning, however, I've cooked under the awning on the odd rainy day without anything noticeable.

WE WENT ON OUR FIRST TRIP AND USED THE ATTACHED GRILL
WITH THE AWNING OPEN AND HAD NO TROUBLE AT ALL.
EVERYTHING WORKED GREAT,CANT SEE ANY PROBLEMS.

I had an attached grill that came with a Fleetwood pop-up that i bought and I loved it. I actually missed it when i got the Puma that i have now and i ended up buying a weber-q grill that just doesnt give the food a good bbq taste because it's basically just a burner with nothing for the grease to land on and them smoke back up to give a grill taste. The grease just falls right to the bottom of the grill past the flame. I end up using charcoal most of the time cause i just think it gives the food a much better BBQ taste. Of course , it takes longer but it's camping right!! we got all the time in the world to cook.
I'm looking forward to getting the attached grill back on the new Flagstaff i have coming in 3 weeks!!!

We have an issue with the grill. It is not solidly attached to the trailer. We are in the middle of a 3 week long job being campground hosts in northern Wisconsin (still some dirty snow in piles) and we have had the grill attached to the tailer for a week, until yesterday, when it fell off!!!! And we were not jumping around in the trailer.

The bracket was attached with short sheet metal screws that really only went into the aluminum skin of the trailer. I don't think any of the screws "found" the "studs." I'll reattach the bracket, trying to hit the aluminum "studs." Anyone know what the stud spacing is? I'll try to use my stud finder to find them. Should work on the inside of the trailer with the fiberglass walls. I will also make the installation stronger by glueing the bracket to the aluminum with some silicone glue, the kind we used to use to make all-glass tropical fish aquariums.

We have electricity only at the campground. So far we find that we need to fill up the 25 gallon fresh water supply once a week or so. We take showers in the campground shower, just opened, and use the toilets, both pit and flush, for solid waste. We have 2 grey water tanks, 50-60 gallons total, and a 25 gallon black water tank which should last us for 3 weeks.

We keep the furnace thermostat set to 50 degrees at night and then use a cheap electric heater to keep us warm during the day. They're giving us electricity, right? The propane furnace does heat up the traler very quickly.

Going to sleep every night listening to the loons.

Wow that's a new one, never heard that before. Sorry to hear about your problem, let us know now it works out with the adhesive.

Even if it works as designed, the problem I see is that it is in a fixed position. I like to be able to my grill around so as to compensate for wind conditions or my patio layout during extended stays. Even if those issues are not a concern for you, do remember that the grill itself will eventually wear out or might not suit you in the first place. In those events you are going to have to either hope you can find an exact replacement that will fit the brackets or put up with having the empty brackets on the side of your trailer. JMHO

Its Only A White Strip,the Brackets Are On The Grill.
But That Strip Also Holds A Flip Up Table. Wich In Itself Is Pretty Handy.

That sounds like a plan. There is still, for me, the other consideration about being able to move the grill to a different location.
