Outside shower Faucet

I have a Prime Time Tracer 2670 BHS and have never used the outside water faucet. Since I will winterize our tt for the first time, I tried to connect the quick disconnect hose and turn on the faucets...could not get the quick disconnect to lock on the line. Also, does the outside shower run on city water hook up or does the water pump have to be on to get water thru it?

Two crazy questions, but I just don't want to mess this up. Thanks in advance for any help..

Check and see if there is any pressure on the faucet, if there is release it.

The shower should work on both city and tank.

I'll give it a try, but will have to wait until tomorrow when we go to the trailer..the quick disconnect hose won't lock on. Don' t know if there is pressure to the faucet..

That quick disconnect is a pain!
You really need to push hard.

Thanks Turns....I probably did not push it hard enough. That plastic backplate is flimsy, was worried that I'd break it.
