Thumbs down Over Stove Vent Screen

Just a caution... I was cleaning my camper for the end of the season and of course wanted to clean the stove area... much to my surprise I found bunches of little metal "c's".... WHAT????

Well, the screen above the stove was full of these... God knows how many I ate in my food over the last year!

The second picture is what I could get vacuumed out after removing the screen including a big chunk of wood that could that easily broken the vent fan!

Called the factory, they really didn't care about it at all. Said it was all the metal shavings from all the screws and that it should have been cleaned by the dealer... Really? Bad form if you ask me.

That's a LOT of screw shrapnel. Where are all those screws that the tailings would drop into the fan discharge, then pass through the fan wheel to land on the top of the filter? Make no sense.

I have a list of 28 items I had to fix on my Travel Trailer. Been holding back posting them but after seeing this,,,,,,,,,,,,. A dealer will never touch my rig again. (I am very handy with anything on this rig,not bragging) A "TECH" drilled 18,,,yes 18 holes in my sagging ceiling and still could not find a rafter. I took it home,, took three measurements and three white head screws and fixed my ceiling.Oh,,,I could go on!!
