Paint cracking on new trailer

Anyone else have their paint start cracking like dry mud on their new trailer? I started noticing cracks showing up after a year. They took care of it and I told them I was concerned that the paint would continue to crack and they said they would work with me after warranty on it. Now they are going back on it. Absolutely no excuses for paint to be cracking like this. Poor quality work!

What brand of trailer? Model?

Lastly, who's "They"?

Dealer? Factory?

Lots more questions before anyone here could even venture a guess, much less an answer.

2017 Rockwood 2702 WS. They being Rockwood said they would work with me on this since I was already having paint issues. Now the dealing calls them and they go back on it. What's the difference of 2 years vs 3? The point is they did a bad paint job. 1 year, 5, 10, it shouldn't be cracking like that.

Sounds like the Dealer may have told them something that you weren't aware of that led to Rockwood declining coverage. Rockwood has usually been very good about warranty issues. I think the dealer holds the answer.

I'll find out when I call them myself tomorrow. I will say the dealer sucks. I had to call Rockwood myself last time as well.

Did you get the dealer's or Rockwood's commitment to "work with you" in writing? While some states do honor verbal "contracts", it's usually hard to prove.

Probably not paint anyway, probably a thin (cheap) layer of gelcoat!

If you can't get satisfaction from the manufacturer, is it possibly an insurance claim?
I'm a bit confused. You ask if anyone has this problem on their new trailer. Yet in post 3 you say it's a 2017.

Yes, I have had this problem with paint flaking and peeling off my 2019 Isata 3 24RWM. There were several times where the paint came off on it own and once when my RV was in the paint shop the paint peeled on when the shop painter removed the tape off the vehicle after repainting a previous spot. I contacted Dynamax reference this issue and they agreed to pay me for the repair and spot painting of my coach.
