Paint matched hatch

Hello,

The previous owners forgot to snap the dometic fridge hatch down on a 2018 Dynamax Isata 3 and the hatch flew off during transit.

They ordered and replaced the hatch before we bought but it’s an unpainted plastic hatch and I’m wanting to see if I can find/order a paint matched hatch replacement.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Contact FR & they can send you the paint label (with numbers) for your unit. You'll need to give them your VIN.

The paint used on RVs is usually auto paint from earlier car models.

Good luck.

If you get the paint number a good paint auto supply can make you up an aerosol can of the correct code. You will need a specific primer to paint plastic but the shop that makes up the paint will be able to help you with that.

Thanks for the tip and that’s exactly what I’m working on at this time. I got FR to send me all the paint codes plus some bottles of touch up paint yesterday.

Thanks again!
