Part of the Club
Hello everyone,
I have made it through the towing section of this site and figured it was time to formally introduce myself. I am Ben from Ohio and my family has ordered a Flagstaff 23LB microlite so we can go camping with our sons and our two dogs (beagle mix and a dachsund mix). Camper should be ready by end of March or early April 
You guys are great and I have learned a lot by lurking around

welcome, what part of Ohio are you from? I'm from the westside of cleveland here. Were really lucky that Ohio has great state parks, you and your boys will love them.

I'm in for a:
Tri State Area-OMI (Ohio Michigan Indiana) FROG Mini-Rally
How about mid to late July at a location in Northwest Ohio (Harrison Lake State Park or Maumee Bay State Park are two good spots) or Northest Indiana (Pokagon State Park or Yogi Bear are two good spots). An easy to reach destination in Michigan could be Harbortown RV Resort. All of these campgrounds we frequent each year and are well recomended.
If anyone else is up for this we could start a seperate post to gather interest and finalize a date and place.

I would love to go to Maumee Bay, I've heard wonderful things about that CG. Our schedule is clear for late July.

works for us, only problem I have with Ohio SP's is they only allow 2 dogs and we have 3
two are 20 lbs and one is 5 lbs. don't know how big of problem that would be.

Just did a quick check for Maumee Bay and they had a large number of sites open for the weekend of July 23rd. It would be great for a group of us from this area to get together who may not be able to make it to Branson. I may make reservations for this weekend even if we do not "formalize" a get together.

Sitting at dinner discussing this possible weekend with my DW and she reminded me we have reservations at Indian Lake the weekend of July 23rd so I would like to suggest the weekend of July 16th. We could arrive Thursday to great everyone as they arrive.

I started another thread to see if there is interest in this. I have made a reservation for the weekend of July 16th at Maumee Bay State Park. Even if no one shows it will be a good weekend of camping for us.
