Pest Offense

Will it hurt anything to leave the TT plugged in to 110V outlet all winter? My wife wants to try an Pest Offense that she brought home from Wal Mart that needs 110V to work to keep the mice out.
An update on out first camping trip last week in the Ozarks. It was great.
Our 2011 Chevy 2500HD with the 6.6HD Duramax Diesel with the Allison transmission work like a dream.
Thanks again for this forum

Gratz on the new truck! The specs on it are awesome and I am jealous.

To answer your question, if you have a 2-stage battery charger it will cook your batteries. Disconnect them for long periods of time in storage when connected to power. If you have a good 3-stage charger/converter then you are better off but be sure to keep a close eye on the fluid levels in the batteries at least once a month and top off with ONLY distilled water when necessary.

As for the pest thing, they don't work. They are along the same line as my elephant repellant rock I have in the front yard. The only reason you won't see any mice is coincidence, there is no science to back up their claims that I can find.

I'd do it. You could also just run a 110V cord into the trailer for your gadget.
