Picking the right camper.

Hello everyone!

I am working on picking the right starter camper for myself being single I have decided to get into the gravel hauling business but being in the deep north work drys up in the winter so I am looking into getting work south in the south and heading back up in the summer.

my current truck:
2006 Chevy Silverado 2500hd with the 6.0 vortec gas engine

Favorite pic currently:
Forest River Vibe Extreme Lite 258RKS

any opinions welcome.
thank you!

Just looked at this video of one, looks great, power stabilizers, I wish he would have shown them working, is this what you are looking to buy? looks nice to me.

Yes that's the one I am currently looking at though I have one about 3 hours from me that's a post model 17 brand new but looks like it's a standard 30amp service and only 1 ac unit but for a trailer that size it should be fine.

I will pop over and take a look at it but I'm probably going to be stuck with new if I need to get a loan.

I think your pick will be perfect that far south. Go for it, will you have full hook ups down there?

We have a 2013 R-Pod 177 and love it. It's smaller, easy to tow, self-contained, has A/C and a furnace. They have a variety of floor plans. There are quite a few full timers, you can find them on this thread if you ask. It might not be an option for your lifestyle, but you should take a look before buying.
