Planning an overnight trip to Charlotte for the race

Hey all,

Never done this before but wanting to try out our new ride and test out the dry camping features on it. So we just got tix to the Charlotte race on Oct. 11th.

Wondering if anyone here has done this before and has any advice as to where to park. (we have been to Charlotte Speedway a few times but never like this).

I am hoping we can just park in a general parking space realitively free of charge by noon Saturday and set up for the night, leaving Sunday morning.

Any advice is welcome and if anyone would like to set up with us, it would be great to meet some frogs.

Thanks in advance to all.

Have been to the track, but not with the RV. We only take ours to Texas.

I do know that at Texas Motor Speedway, you would not be allowed to camp in the general parking lot. You would need to purchase a camping spot. I would guess that Charlotte would be the same. I would go to the track web site or call the track. Enjoy the race and camping.

Thank you Mike. I had no doubt someone would point me in the right direction.

I was going to threaten OldCoot with landing in his front yard if all else failed knowing he would find the answer as to where I could park it closer to the track.
