Cool Please Help! Cracked vent cover.

Hello, our 2007 Forest river travel trailor is leaking through the roof vents. We found that it is cracked, and cannot figure out what brand it is to purchase the correct replacement cover. We have looked through all our paperwork that we got with the rv when we purchased it new. Does anyone know what brand they are? Thanks!

Until you find a replacement cover get a tube of Goop and lay a bead over the cracks.

Get the Maxxair vents and seal them around the edges.

Remove the cracked cover----------

Remove the cracked cover, place a plastic dishpan over the vent with a brick on it or as suggested install the MAXXAIR vent covers to shield the vents for feature protection. Take the cover with you to your local RV dealer / camping world, they have replacements. While you are at it check your round vent covers (white) that are over the kitchen, bath, vents they may need replacing also... The crank up square vent covers are prone to OZONE damage and are not UV protected. Make sure you get white MAXXAIR covers. The black or brown covers look cool but trap a lot of heat because of the dark color.

Good luck on your adventure of replacing the covers

X2 if you have the money buy Maxxair II. Easy to clean and install.

Most vents are a standard size this is why you can order maxxair vents for them. I suggest you look up Tweety's RV on-line and get a new vent and then install maxxair vents, they work like a charm and are very easy to install yourself.
