Power Converter problems

I have a WFCO 55amp power center in my 2006 Cherokee 28A. A few trips back, I noticed my fan stopped working in the converter. The battery went dead after the next trip. With the trailer plugged in to shorepower, I disconnected the battery and checked the lights, and they were very dim. I'm pretty sure the converter is bad. I looked on their website, and it looks like you can buy the main board assy. for around $150. Is there anyone out there familiar with this problem? Thanks in advance.

Fishonboy I would check & see what your voltage is with your battery disconnected. Should be around 13.4-14.5 volt. IF not go to the converter. Disconnect 12 volt to batteries again check for 13.4-14.5 If ok. IT may be in your wiring. IF low voltage at the converter 12 supply, check your 120v,& fuses if ok ....sound like it maybe a bad converter. The fan I think work off a temp control on/off. If you get the board make sure it a match.
