I have a 2020 Cardinal with an electric motor to open the vent cover in the bathroom. The motor will close the cover but not open it. The gears do not move when in "open" mode. I can manually turn the gears and open the cover. I can then use the motor to successfully close the cover. I lubricated the parts but still doesn't work. Any ideas?
Is it a Maxx fan? I had the same issue with mine, I had to replace the circuit board inside. Contact the warrant dept of the fan manufacturer and they'll send out a new one. They did have me do a few troubleshooting checks first though.
