Have you considered adding a micro-easy start to your A/C. You should have no problems running your A/C at elevation with your 3500 genny then. And with the money you saved it would almost pay for itself! I added one to mine and run our 13.5k with a single honda 2200. Haven't tried at an elevation such as yours, but then again your generator is a lot bigger.
