Cool Price increase ?

Has anyone heard of a price increase by FR to all their dealers last week.

Or is my dealer feeding me a line....

Thanks.

I wouldn't rule out either one. Our dealer tried feeding me a line about how FR only gives them incentives on certain floorplans and "the one you are interested in didn't have one" Yeah right! If you are interested in a FR product line that RVdirect.com carries then price your rig online with them to see how close your dealer is as they usually have the best prices around.

I ordered my rig brand new from a dealer. When it came in suddenly there was a price increase of $800.00. from model year to model year from Forest River. I told them I was quoted a price and that is the price I want otherwise keep it. The dealer called me back and said he worked something out with FR. I do not know if they were telling me the truth or not but they honored the original price.

Price increases are common for this time of year since the factory is in the process of moving to 2011 production.

From the information by my dealer I would say you are definitely looking at a price increase. For a short term the prices are up $5500 on the Berkshire and when the 2010 chassis become standard on rigs then you could be looking at another $10,000 or more. Welcome to the new emissions standards!!

sounds like a line, try ?, they are a big forest river dealer that does not play games, at the very least you can get an answer to your question. we do our rv business with them and only them!
