Propane Quick Disconnect

I have a 2010 Berkshire that I just purchased and it has a QD in one of the bins I assume so that I can hook up my grill. Can anyone tell me how to figure out what size the QD is so I can purchase a hose?

This is a 12ft hose and QD kit, should be able to find it at CW, Menards, Rural King, TSC, Fleabay or amazon
It says natural but will work for LP as well

If the link doesnt work the part # is F273720 you can Google it

you haven't posted which grill you want to hook up.
just so you know, the QD line is low pressure and will only work with low pressure grills and stoves.

anything that needs needs high pressure, such as ones that use the 1lb. tanks, will not work with the QD propane line without some modifications.

Most of them are 3/8" female pipe and are "3/8" female QD" actual hole size is approx 5/8". If you can clean up and read the info on the collar of the trailer mounted unit it should list size, mfg name and aga approval. And as dan mentioned before this is low pressure (11" wc/6.35oz) Any unit that requires disposable bottles will not work with out changes (if possible)

Good Luck

I'm trying to hook up a Char Broil Tru Infared Grill 2 Go. It does use 1lb bottles but I was told I could also use a 20lb tank. The only info I could find on the QD was

0852 F2 50MBTU/HLPG
1/2 PSI GMax Gas Flow

Does that help?

Thank you

Measure the center hole, It is probaly 5/8 ish. Worse case it you buy that kit it will have a new female end and you can change it out. You need to check with Charbroil and find out if they have a low pressure kit for that unit or check the instructions.
A lot of times they just hook up tank pressure direct to the inlet (were the disposable bottle goes) and you can run off of a bigger tank. That does not work in this case unless you would want to connect between the bottle and the "house" regulator.

Thank you for your help. CharBroil says I cannot hook this grill up to my RV so I guess I'm out of luck. I do have a bigger tank on my grill at home that I can use on with this grill. I appreciate all the replies and ideas. Thank you to everyone.
