To cover off all threads in one..
Fridge on Propane while driving even while refueling
Nitrogen in Tires to Tyres depending where you call home
Move firewood kindling site to site
I still have Chinese made tires to higher quality (Good Year) than stock (Trail Express)
Tow with Diesel now vs Gas Pick-me-up
I use my FR1 Water filter and tighten it so it doesn't spin off.
Don't Text and Tow!! Now in Ontario it is a $500 fine.

When someone posts "The manufacturer says you can/cannot run your fridge on propane while underway", ask "Which manufacturer(s)?"
When someone posts "It's against state law to ____________", ask "Which state(s)?"

Just do what makes you feel safe for you and yours. Don't worry about what anyone else does. I do what makes me feel safe for me and DW, now DW always has the last word and I just say yes

We have a residential fridge now, not propane. But for about 10 years we had the ones that can be switched over to propane. I did it, never had a problem. Dealers will also use it as selling feature. Check propane laws per state to be sure though.

What does the manual say that came with the unit? I'm pretty sure they have researched it before putting their product on the market. Personally, mine stays on when traveling and two days before to give it a head start for when we pack it with food for the trip. JMHO.

Propane is a bunch less expensive and dirty than diesel or gasoline by the hour/mile for what your refer uses.

I run with my propane fridge on and in the winter I leave my propane
furnace on to keep my freezables from freezing while driving.

We could start a list of worries: refrigerator causing a fire, tires failing, bicycles falling off, hitch unlatching, roof leaking, wheel bearings not getting enough grease, and my recent favorite--the inside of the black tank might get dirty so let's not use it. RVs are to be enjoyed; I maintain mine the best I can, and I use it--all of it including the refrigerator and the black tank. The greatest risk we all share is simply being on the road with impaired and/or distracted drivers.

In the real world, even though it's against the law in most states, most people travel with it on....how many people that don't even know of this forum, do? How many have you seen stopped at a tunnel to turn it off? Just because it's in black and white, doesn't make it happen.
