Proper Jack Placement

Hello:
Checked the manual for Surveyor TT could not find anything about Jacking up the trailer, should jack be placed under axle or frame. Does anyone have this info?

Your Surveyor is equipped with a Independent Torsion Suspension System.
Caution should be taken when jacking the trailer. A jack should be placed as far outward under the axle-to-frame mount as possible. Placing a jack anywhere else could mis-align the Camber of the axle and lead to premature tire tread wear.
What I'm saying is, try to place the jack in the area where the axle is bolted to the frame.

This is where I placed a jack, on a previous TT I had, with Torsion axles.

The photo below is of a Forest River trailer with Torsion axles. Should be very similar to yours.

I know this thread is from last year, but I just raised my camper to change out an axle. I used a device called an E-Z JACK. It is safe to use. It is not recommended to jack up a camper from what I read. The E-Z JACK came from camping world.

single axle or dual? If dual, you can make a little ramp and block to raise one axle off the ground which raises the 2nd to work on.
