Puppy fence

We are looking for a fence for our 15 lbs puppy. Would like approx 8 x 10 foot area. Light weight and flexible and easy to assemble. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Something to consider because your dog will get bigger and used my some of my camping buddies is the electronic fence. Consists of collar and settable range transmitter. With that said it does not stop strangers from coming up to the dog like a fence would.

We got a nice one from Tractor Supply that we added a second one to. Folds up and latches to itself for transport. They come in 2 different hights. Our Alf is a little over 25 lbs. I set it so that if he runs out the door of the unit, he's in the safe area.

We use this setup from Amazon. Not lightweight overall but it is in small sections so it is very easy to setup and tear down. We use it for our full grown Golden Retriever, he’s too lazy/old to jump over. Sorry I don’t have any better pictures, I’ll have to remember to take some this year.

Here is our setup we bought a piece of lattice at Lowes it's cut in two pieces to fit the side of our TT and stored inside the TT when we break camp.....I carry three 8 panel folding dog fence that is 24 inches tall and set it up depending on the campsite....It's nice that we can just open the door and let our two Pom's run out

3/4" or 1/2" pvc for the frame with green plastic mesh fencing and cable ties. Make the frame however tall/wide you need. Stores on the back ladder. And sometimes we put the 7'x7' canopy up over the pen.Click image for larger version

Commercial xpens are easy and can be linked together to create as large a space as you want.
Be aware that some dogs will climb barriers. My 10lb Pomeranian cross scales my 42” high xpen with relatively little effort if there’s something exciting on the other side [emoji849]

We use one or two of these for our two dachshunds. Ran into a campground where they came over and told us to take it down, fences not allowed. Has anyone else ran into this? This happened in Savannah, TN. New owners.

I make sure I always check the campground rules and if I have any questions I call to find out first hand....My feelings are if they don't allow it I don't stay there I'll spend my money at a campground that does...Same goes with being a pet friendly business I'll gladly spend my money if it is however, if it isn't they aren't seeing a dime of my $$$$

We get the pens from camping world.https://www.campingworld.com/heavy-d...es-containment

These are heavy (about 66 lbs) so they are sturdy. We hook 3 together and have a plastic fence we use so the dogs can't go under the camper. You can use them on concrete by zig zagging the panels.

Here's a short video.

Teach the puppy not to jump up and not to bark. A trained dog is great.

There is always a portable invisible fence option. Just connect a loop of wire to the portable transmitter as nd you are good to go. The one I have can support a 200' length of wire and it runs on 4 D batteries.
