Purchase a warranty on a 4 yr old TT?

I just bought a 2005 Cardinal TT and the dealer is offering a 3 yr warranty for ~$1500. Is this a good deal or ripoff?

thanks for any and all help.

Need more information.
Are you a handy man or don't know which end of a hammer to hold???
What does it cover?
Will it replace your water heater or refrigerator if they go bad???
Are there deductibles or copays? How much are they?

Personally, I would save the money but I've got 37 years of industrial maintenance
under my belt and I can fix most problems myself.

Also, who carries the warranty?? If your dealer goes belly up in this economy can
you simply go somewhere else?
What about the warranty company themselves. You know if they go bankrupt
your money is lost.

All things to consider.
My 2¢
Good luck!
I vote no.

As a rule those extended warranties aren't usually a good investment, but as Dan said, it all depends on your circumstance and what all the warranty covers, any restrictions and any deductables. Take a look at everything and decide if it's worth it to you.

I'll second that no.

When I bought my 04 Salem LE Hybrid I bought one from RV Protection.net. If I remember correctly it was around $750-800 and it covered almost everything except aluminum siding and bright work. I used it on a few occasions and they were great. Will be looking into getting one for my 09 V-Lite when the Manufacturers runs out.
