Really cold weather slide with toppers movement

Hi all, we will be getting ready to go south and need to open our sliders to load our 2019 36ck2 with slide toppers. It will be in the teens or low 20s. So any experience with opening the camper up?

Hopefully when you you closed them last they were dry. If so there shouldn't be any issue.

As mentioned, if they were dry there should be no issues. Even then, maybe not as the vinyl fabric is pretty resilient. We had ours opened up 3 times this past week (we have toppers too) with no issues in below freezing temperatures getting ready to leave today for FL.
This is our 4th R/V with them on and have done so with all.

Cold and slide toppers

They were dry but we have had lots of rain and very wet snow. Right now just really cold low 20s and getting more snow atleast it is light fluffy. Tho the weather for Xmas is getting even colder

If there is any way you can load without opening the slides, that would ensure that the fabric won't rip due to frozen water that might have worked its way into the fabric area. The way the weather looks right now, you might have to travel pretty far south to defrost everything.
