Recessed light removal

We have a 2013 Sabre 34RLQS. In one of our slideouts, the recessed light has been working intermittently. We're trying to remove the light to check the wiring. The light has three tabs that appear to hold the light in place. I've pulled on the light to determine if the tabs would release, but I stopped after pulling fairly hard in fear of breaking the light or damaging the ceiling. I've attached a couple of photos. Any words of wisdom on how to remove the light would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Exactly what are you pulling on? You say light… do you mean the silver part that the light plugs onto or are you talking about the white housing that looks like you have removed the 3 screws from?

We are trying to move the entire light fixture from the ceiling. On our camper, there aren't any screws that fasten the light fixture to the ceiling. It appears that the only thing holding it in are some type of clips. I haven't had one of these removed, so I don't know the procedure to remove the entire fixture from the ceiling.

Remove the three #1 Phillip screws. I'll bet you can see the wires then.

Thanks. I'm trying to remove the entire fixture to check wiring inside the ceiling as well and possibly replace with LED fixtures.

Some of these fixture can be removed by turning counter clockwise. Might be worth the try.

This looks like the same fixture you have. The picture of the spring clips may help with removal.
