Most of this thread is utterly useless. You cannot talk about rates without mentioning duration (year) and amount. For example, right now at the same bank, a $10,000 loan for 10 years is 9.49% and a $50,000 loan for 5 years is 4.49%.
So, merely stating a percent or even a percent and duration leaves out critical information necessary to make any rational comparison.
There are also different rates based on new or used purchases.
Just know that you may not see some of these rates mentioned above because we don't really know the conditions behind those quoted rates.
Three years ago, I had an $11,000, 10 year loan on a new trailer that had an APR of 6.1%.
